Another great place to create a business listing for carpet installation, countertop installation and wallpapering business is on Bing. Bing is Microsoft’s search engine and the second largest search engine. Bing Places for Business will show your business information on the Bing Search engine and Bing Maps.
To create your Bing Places, go to https://www.bingplaces.com/. Click the button as a New User to get started and claim your business.
A new feature allows you to import your Google My Business profile but I will explain the way to manually add your Bing Places profile.
- Select your business type
- Select your country
- Enter your phone number or business name and location to search
There may already be a listing for your business which you can then claim. Otherwise, you can create a new business.
At some point, you will need a Microsoft account. This can be done in two ways. You can use a “work” account if you already use a service like Office 365. Or, you can create a “personal” account using something like Outlook.com.
You next enter all your business information.
Finally, you will need to verify your business. You can follow the instructions to complete the process.
